TO MINIMISE THE NUMBER OF PATIENTS IN THE SURGERY AT ONCE ALL FACE TO FACE APPOINTMENTS WILL BE CARRIED OUT OVER THE TELEPHONE. IF YOU NEED TO BE SEEN THIS WILL BE COORDINATED BY THE GP.

ACCESS TO OUR EMERGENCY CLINICS, MORNING AND AFTERNOON, WILL BE RESTRICTED DUE TO THE CURRENT RISK OF CORONAVIRUS SPREAD. IF YOU FEEL YOU NEED TO BE SEEN AS AN EMERGENCY CALL THE SURGERY BETWEEN 8AM AND 10AM OR 2.30PM AND 4PM. YOU WILL NEED TO GIVE AS MUCH INFO AS POSSIBLE TO THE CARE NAVIGATOR AND MAY BE THEN BOOKED IN FOR A EMERGENCY TELEPHONE CONSULTATION WITH A GP.

FOR THE MOMENT WE WILL NOT MAKE GP APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE FOR ONLINE BOOKING.

UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE WE WILL NOT BE MAKING ROUTINE BLOOD TEST APPOINTMENTS, ONLY PATIENTS ON WARFARIN, MEDICATIONS WHICH MUST HAVE REGULAR MONITORING, EMERGENCY ON THE DAY TEST REQUESTS AND WHERE A PATIENT HAS HAD A MEDICATION CHANGE AND BLOOD MONITORING IS REQUIRED.

We Can Text You!

We are using our text messaging service more and more, to invite you for a review, blood test or let you know if a GP would like to see you. You can also you use it to cancel appointments, decline or accept services and let us know if we are doing a good job! Please make sure we have your up to date contact details. You can do this via this website or EMIS access if you are registered. Alternatively, call us and let us know.

Cancel Your Appointment!

Every week a large number of patients fail to attend booked appointments. Please let us know as soon as possible if you can’t keep your appointment then we can give it to someone else! We offer a text messaging service which has the option to cancel an appointment so please make sure we have your up to date contact details.

The practice regrets that it cannot offer telephone or email consultations to patients who are outside of the UK, and for legal reasons we are not in a position to deal with any clinical issues involving patients who are abroad. If you are travelling abroad, you should ensure that you have adequate medical/travel insurance.  In the event that you require medical assistance, you should seek a local service and inform your insurance company as appropriate. On return from your travels, please do not hesitate to contact the surgery if you need further assistance and bring any relevant medical information relating to the episode with you. If you’re travelling in Europe, apply for a free European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) which may give you access to reduced cost medical treatment in Europe.
